Happy Boy

Aiden was being so cute this morning (4-22-10) that I could not resist taking pictures. I had just given him a bath, got him all dressed up and put him on my bed while I finished getting ready. I heard him cooing and he was just making all sorts of cute faces. I grabbed the camera and LOVE the shots I got of him. Just this week he has been expressing this little personality of his and it is so ADORABLE!!! I LOVE THIS LITTLE HAPPY BOY!!!

Aiden's First Easter

Across the street from our house at Pacana Park, the city put on an Easter Egg Hunt. Of course Aiden is too little to hunt, so we just took him over to get a picture with the Easter Bunny. You will probably agree that they could have gotten a better costume.

So here is another slideshow of what has gone on with Aiden so far....I can't believe how big he is getting.

Aiden has arrived...March 13, 2010

We were able to welcome Aiden Christopher Brisnehan into our family on March 13, 2010at 2:40am at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, AZ. After arriving to the hospital on Friday March 12th because of my water beginning to break, I was given this fill to help start contractions...yeah, no fun there. I arrived dialated at 2cm and after taking the pill I went to 4cm, but the pill was making me have contractions lasting close to 5 minutes long and I was miserable. They didn't give me the pill anymore and put me on pitosin (sp). That sucked as well. I did go from 4cm to 7cm but the contractions were still pretty bad.

Shower by Jen and Stephanie

One of my good friends Jen Layton and my sister in law Stephanie Cooper (along with the help of others) threw me a CUTE western baby shower. Bethany Palmateer made the most adorable cake ever and the overall decor of Jen's was adorable. Thank you to all who attended. I have such wonderful friends.

Shower by Natalie and Diane

I love my girls or should I say GRILZ!!! Natalie and Diane were so sweet as to throw me a shower. They did such a great job and I got sooooo many cute little boy outfits. To all my friends who were able to come I love you guys so much!!!

Texas Shower

I am so lucky to have some wonderful friends and family members. In Texas, my mother and Aunt Kara threw me a shower at which I had both sets of grandparents there which was wonderful to see them. My mom, dad and sister were there including my Uncle Jeff, Aunt Kara and Bailey. Two friends of our family were able to attend as well, Misty Sprouse and Kim Barbolla. I received many wonderful things for our little boy.

Joseph and Stephanie's Wedding

On September 4, 2009 my brother Joseph Cooper married Stephanie Bernam in the Mesa, AZ Temple. It was a beautiful wedding and we were very excited for them. Many members of both our family and Stephanie's family were able to attend. We wish all the luck to them.

Baby Boy Brisnehan

Chris and I found out on July 11, 2009 that we were pregnant again. We were so excited but also crossing our fingers that everything would go ok this time. I personally had been praying for a while that we would get pregnant and what do you know...Heavenly Father answered our prayers. Right after Chris and I go sealed in the Mesa, AZ temple in June, we got pregnant. We were excited to find out we were having a boy who would be born sometime in March of 2010.

Hawaii 2009

At the end of June, Chris and I, along with two other couples, Erin & Michael Ballard and Amber & Matt Durfee decided to take a trip to Hawaii before we all started our family. We spent 6 days in Kihei on the island of Maui. It was absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful time staying in a 3 bedroom condo, Chris making dinner, playing games in the evening while spending as much time outside and on the beach as possible. All the guys got sick at one point, Matt got a bad subuurnb, Chris broke his ankle and the girls, well, we just got tan. What a great trip though. We had so much fun going on a trip with some of our closest friends. Hopefully we will be able to do it again, but the next time, kids will probably be invovled...which is what we will find out a few weeks later!!

June 13, 2009 "For Time and All Eternity"

In June, Chris and I were sealed in the Mesa, Arizona temple. After Chris's 1 year of being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we were able to be sealed together for time and all eternity. It was a wonderful day, one that we will never forget. How wonderful it is to know that our family will be together for eternity. There were a few things that tried to keep us from getting sealed on the day we planned which was June 12, but because of weather and wanting my parents there, we were able to be sealed on June 13. Family is so important and I love and appreciate everyone in my family and Chris's as well. We had several friends attend along with my family including my parents, brother and future sister in law, and Butch and Jennifer. Thank you all who attended.

February 2009

There were a lot of things that happened in 2009. We visited Chris's grandmother in California in February for their birthday get together. We had a good time with Chris's parents and Aunt Monica (and can't forget Howie) who came to visit as well. We toured a naval ship, Chris played golf with his family and the majority of the time we played cards. I unfortunatley I was sick with what I now think was walking pneumonia but luckily I had some time to relax. On the drive home to Arizona, Chris and I ended up getting snowed on.

2008

The rest of 2008 was great. We settled in the house and took a couple of trips. We went to Texas to be at Chelsey's graduation. We went on a cruise with Chris's parents in October to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. We snorkeled in Cabo, took a tour in Mazatlan and swam with the dolphins in Puerto Vallarta. At Christmas my parents and sister came to visit. It was nice spending Christmas together. My brother joined us as well. One day we took a train ride in northern Arizona which was pretty cool.

Chris's Baptism

Chris surprised me one day by having the Missionaries over for dinner. From that point on he began the discussions. I was so greatful that he worked on finding his testimony. From the time we dated Chris was open with attending church with me. My friend said if he can sit through 3 hours of church without complaining he would be ok. We started going to our ward in Maricopa when we moved in around March and from then on Chris's enthusiasm took off. We immediately developed some great relationships with some of the families in our ward and not took long after moving in the ward had split. It has now been easier to get to know people. After several weeks of having the missionaries over, Chris decided to be baptised. As mentioned previously I had surgery on May 5th. Well, Chris's baptism was on May 3rd. My parents and grandmother were able to come out for Chris's baptism and for my surgery which we both really appreciated. Chris asked my brother Joseph to baptize him and my dad confirmed him that Sunday. Monday I went in for surgery, but life was great. Currently, Chris and I are the Canning Specialists for the Maricopa 2nd Ward. We enjoy our ward and our current learning experiences in our marriage.

The House

Since the wedding Chris and I have gone through a lot. We moved into our house at the end of February 2008 first of March. We live in Maricopa and besides the lack of entertainment we love it. We live in a two story house, 3 bedrooms and we have a fireplace. Right, who needs a fireplace in Arizona? We have a nice size backyard which we are still working on as well.

The Health Issues:
In February, Chris and I found out we were pregnant. We were really excited about having a baby. All was well, I experienced the wonderful joys of morning sickness and the exciting doctors visits. We had several songorams and opportunities to hear a heartbeat. In March, around my 6th/7th week I developed a tumor on my thyroid. We had several visits with my OB and a General Surgeon who thought I would be ok with my pregnancy. Unfortunately during my 12th week (finishing up my first trimester) and there was not a heart beat. I had miscarried the baby and went to the hospital for the procedure the next morning. I was greatful that my mother came out to be with me. On May 5th I had the goiter (tumor) removed from my thyroid. Luckily it was not cancerous. I am just now left with a beautiful scar across my neck. Now we will just be keeping an I on the rest of my thyroid and trying for a baby. We know Heavenly Father will bless us.

Cabo San Lucas February 2008

Chris and his grandmother share their birthdays on February 18. In light of that, a trip is planned each year and in February of 2008 we went to Cabo San Lucas. We spent 5 great days on the beach and stayed at the Westin Grand Regina. It was a 3 bedroom, absolutley gorgeous cabana. We rode on ATV's and watched whales. It was a great vacation. I love celebrating their birthday's.

The BIG DAY!!!

Chris and I were married December 28, 2007 in Georgetown, Texas in an absolutely beautiful bed and breakfast. We were surrounded by close family and few friends who decided to make the drive. The longest drive included me, my brother and my cousin Jason from the Phoenix area to Georgetown, straight through....it was a very long drive....but definitely worth it. The day was beautiful and the night was frigid, did I mention it was an outside wedding. My line consisted of my sister, my best friend Joyce, love ya girl, and Chris's sister Michelle. Then Chris had my brotherk, my cousin Jason and our good buddy Sam who made the trip....and Southwest lost his luggage on the way home...still waiting on a check aren't you Sam? The cake was wonderful, the colors were great, everything went through without a hitch. It was a fairy tale wedding....

We went on our honeymoon to Colorado. Chris's grandmother let us stay at her house that she uses during the summer. Other then it being freezing cold and I being sick most of the time...it was a nice honeymoon. We spent most of the time cuddled up together. We did go to a museum in Denver and attempted to go skiing, but an avalanche cancelled that. We new in a couple of months though we would be heading to Cabo San Lucas which we would make it be like a second honeymoon.
